General Manager (GM) Job Description \| Full\-Time, Salaried, Exempt Position Reports to: President, Board of Directors Work location: Lake Merwin Campers Hideaway, Amboy, Washington Residency: Required on site in LMCH\-provided housing **Organization and Position Overview** Lake Merwin Campers Hideaway (LMCH) is a private, member\-owned camping club and nonprofit corporation encompassing approximately 588 acres and 1,500 campsites. Its operations resemble those of a small city, including water, wastewater, electrical systems, roads, grounds, 35 bath houses, an indoor pool, waterfront and marina facilities, storage areas, administrative services, and other member amenities. LMCH is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership. The General Manager is LMCH's chief executive and senior operational authority, responsible for the overall administration, financial stewardship, facilities, infrastructure, projects, personnel, contractors, and member services of the organization.
