**Job Objective****:** Under the direction of the Controller and/or designee, this position performs professional accounting and financial analysis and possesses a comprehensive understanding of the accounting and budget process, internal controls, automated accounting systems and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and applicable federal and state governmental accounting standards. This position is responsible for preparing financial statements for the Hospital and its affiliates. This included the ability to meet with administrative and department staff to coordinate fiscal activities, discuss alternatives and make decisions of significant impact and consequence. **Duties and Responsibilities:** * General Ledger * + Responsible for calculation, maintenance and monitoring of amortization schedules, standard journal entries and miscellaneous accruals and receivables. + Analyzes, reconciles, and/or evaluates the accuracy of the general ledger, accounting details, revenues, expenditures ensuring proper amounts and classifications. + Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly detail including any interface activity. + Reconciles and reviews all general ledger acc...
