**About the position** The Manager, Development will support origination, development, and advancement of utility\-scale solar and battery storage projects in Emeren's US pipeline. This role combines hands on project management and building strong relationships with landowners, utilities, regulators, and internal teams (engineering, legal, finance, and asset management). The newcomer will report to the Director of Midwest Development. **Responsibilities** * Implementation development activities including real estate acquisition, discretionary permit, tax abatement negotiations, and community engagement; * Assess impacts and risks to the project development path, develop mitigation plans and communicate these impacts to pertinent parties; * Track and manage project real estate including land leasing efforts, title reports, ALTA surveys, etc.; * Negotiate local tax abatements, road use, and decommissioning agreements; * Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including landowners, utilities, regulators, consultants, and community representatives; * Monitor and mitigate project risks across technical, commercial, and regulatory areas; * Create and maintain detailed p...
