**Senior Tax \& Accounting Accountant** AWKO related entities are seeking an experienced tax and accounting professional to lead tax preparation and bookkeeping for a portfolio of businesses across multiple industries. This role reports to the CFO and offers the opportunity to take ownership of accounting from monthly bookkeeping through year\-end tax preparation. Our ideal candidate has at least five years of experience working in a CPA or tax firm, enjoys both tax work and hands\-on accounting, and can manage multiple entities with accuracy and organization. CPA licensure is preferred. Real estate experience is welcome but is not required. **Responsibilities** * Manage day\-to\-day bookkeeping and monthly closes for assigned entities, including bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliations. * Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly financial statements for management. * Prepare federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and other entities, based on experience and complexity. * Prepare and maintain tax workpapers, depreciation schedules, capital account schedules, and supporting document...
