**Coho Construction Management** is seeking an experienced **General Civil Engineer.** This **remote** role requires travel and will support Quality Assurance (QA) support activities for a large federal customer. The work would be focused on providing subject matter expertise for the owner in support of a nationwide, design and construction program. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of industry experience as a designer of civil, site improvements combined with some field experience assuring compliance with plans and specifications on federal projects. Existing or recent security clearance a plus but not required. This is a part\-time on\-call position. It's an estimated 200 hours of work within six months. **Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):** * Support design reviews from concept through Issued for Construction (IFC). * Perform quality assurance surveillance, prepare QA reports. * Perform onsite construction QA inspections, identify potential construction issues. * Support development of scopes of work (SOW) for potential construction modifications. * Conduct preliminary review of construction contractor claims. * Review contractor cost proposals an...
