**PURPOSE:** This position is accountable for working with the senior leadership in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the Regulatory Compliance Program for the hospital and the medical group. This position ensures that we are always in compliance with applicable laws, the public health code, regulations, and standards. **SCHEDULE:** Full time, 80 hours every two weeks, primarily 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, must be able to work other shifts including weekends and holidays to accommodate organizational needs, 30\-minute unpaid meal break. **SUPERVISOR**: Direct report to the President of UCHC Waterbury Hospital and matrix into COO/CNO of UConn Health. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: * Maintains a current understanding of regulatory and clinical quality trends and changes in law and advises appropriate management staff of trends affecting their activities. * Serves as a regulatory consultant and content expert to the President, CNO, CMO, nursing, physicians, CNSs, nurse managers, staff, and students to positively impact compliance with laws and regulations. * Manages in daily work including, but not limited to, mock tracers, adverse event reporting, contract quality ...
