Description

**Main Purpose of the Role:** To provide quotes and routes for inland container movements; secure rates; facilitate inland movement of containers via Rail, Truck, Barge; setting up invoices in SAP, transmitting rail bills. **Main Tasks:** * Provide accurate quotes/rates for intermodal freight, bids and spot business. * Support commercial efforts to maximize profitability by finding the most cost effective and efficient routing for new and existing business. * Recommend changes in routing when alternate routes are preferred. * Negotiate rates with truckers for spot business and new routes. * Update ZIMAPS quarterly and for missing costs as needed. * Maintain routing and route preference order in IQ Ship. Create routes when auto routing is missing, expired, or not logical. * Update costs in routes when missing. * Manage changes to specific vendors/routing in day to day as required.
