JOB SUMMARY: The Controller is a vital contributor to the effective management of fiscal functions within a nonprofit direct care agency dedicated to serving children, adolescents, and young adults on the autism spectrum, as well as individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The Controller will lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements. As a key member of the Finance team, the Controller is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information; overseeing monthly financial reporting; and preparing required financial submissions to agencies, including the Department of Developmental Services (DDS), Department of Social Services (DSS), Department of Children and Families (DCF), Office of Policy and Management (OPM). The Controller will support Adelbrook's mission by providing financial leadership, compliance oversight, and actionable financial analysis to operational leaders and senior management.
