Overview: **POSITION TITLE (Oracle title)** INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST II **WORKING TITLE** Information Security Analyst II**SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT** Technology Services Division (TSD) **LOCATION** Crossroads II, Cary, NC **PAY GRADE** Technology Grade 22 **FLSA STATUS** Exempt **ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT** No **WORK WEEK SCHEDULE** Monday\-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) *Position is eligible for hybrid telework workweek* **POSITION PURPOSE:** Responsible for maintaining, assessing, and strengthening the overall information security posture of the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS). Directs and executes operational security controls, conducts technical vulnerability assessments, leads escalated incident investigations, and performs governance, software privacy, and risk reviews.
