Spine and Orthopedic Specialists of Tennessee is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team part\-time. This role supports our physicians and physician assistants, helps keep patient visits running smoothly, and contributes to a welcoming, professional clinic environment. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, works well with others, and takes pride in providing attentive patient care. **Key Responsibilities** * Welcome and room patients, obtain vital signs, and document the reason for their visit. * Review and update patient histories, medications, allergies, and other information in the electronic medical record. * Prepare examination rooms, equipment, and supplies for patient visits. * Assist providers with examinations and office procedures as directed and within the scope of training. * Support accurate, timely documentation and communicate patient questions or concerns to the appropriate provider. * Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient patient flow. * Protect patient confidentiality and follow clinic policies.
