Position Summary: The Transportation Coordinator will lead the design, launch, and manage the Suquamish Tribe’s Transportation initiative. The role will be central to creating a responsive and culturally grounded transportation program in alignment with Suquamish values. Duties and Responsibilities: * Assess transportation needs, identify service gaps, and recommend models for effective and equitable transit access. * Develop and maintain a transportation plan and operations procedures, including service routes, individual ride protocols, safety policies, and staffing structure. * Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and supervision of program drivers. * Identify and facilitate procurement of vehicles, equipment, and scheduling tools. * Coordinate vehicle regular cleaning and maintenance needs. * Ensure smooth day\-to\-day program operations and monitor service delivery quality. * Collaborate with Tribal departments, partner organizations, healthcare providers, courts, and social service agencies. * Conduct outreach and promote the service across Tribal and community networks to increase awareness and ridership. * Track key data and assist with reporting on performance, utilization, and ...
