Overview: **Accountant** Samaritan Daytop Village provides life\-changing services in mental health, addiction recovery, housing, and more to help individuals and families across New York rebuild their lives. Key responsibilities include handling month\-end, quarter\-end, and year\-end close processes, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, analyzing budget variances, and maintaining financial databases. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and possess at least three years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the non\-profit sector, along with proficiency in GAAP, financial software, and Microsoft Excel.
