Job Overview The Experienced Accountant supports the Assistant Controller in preparing and maintaining accounting records and supporting documentation for the day\-to\-day accounting and finance activities of Advantage Insurance Services (AIS), an affiliated entity of Advantage Insurance, Inc. (AVI). Responsibilities include preparing monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and lead sheets; analyzing and documenting expense activity; assisting with the preparation of AIS’s financial statements; supporting intercompany reconciliations; preparing bank reconciliations; and performing routine accounting activities for AIS. The role is also responsible for maintaining accounting records and preparing financial statements for portfolio\-based entities established under the life insurance entity’s policy structures. In addition, the Experienced Accountant supports the Finance team with special projects, ad hoc analyses, and other departmental initiatives as needed.
