Description: **Position Summary** The Energy Auditor is a key member of RECAP's Weatherization team and is responsible for conducting comprehensive energy audits of residential homes served through the New York State Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and NYSERDA Empower Programs. The Energy Auditor evaluates residential properties to identify energy efficiency, health, safety, and building performance needs; develops appropriate work scopes and material lists; and ensures recommended work is consistent with applicable program requirements and the New York State Weatherization Field Guide. The position works closely with the Production Coordinator, Director of Weatherization, Weatherization staff, contractors, and other program partners to support the successful completion of weatherization projects.
