**Examples of Duties** ---------------------- *The incumbent in this position must be able to successfully perform the following essential job functions and duties:* * Development review + Review and respond to development proposals in unincorporated Summit County, based on the standards set forth in the County Land Use and Development Code for access and roads, floodplains, wetlands, steep slopes, and water quality. + Represent the Engineering Department at Planning Commission and Board of County Commissioners hearings for proposed developments in the county. + Review single\- and multi\-family residential, commercial and industrial permit submittals for compliance with grading and excavation, road and bridge, floodplain, and wetland development standards. + Review, issue, and administer grading and excavation permits, as well as wetland and floodplain development permits. * Project consultation + Provide consultation and assistance to other County Departments including the Road \& Bridge, Open Space \& Trails, Environmental Health, Planning, and Building Departments on active and pending projects. + Assist with inspections on road and trail projects as needed. * Coordinate with o...
