**Procurement Professional** **The Company:** Asheville Mica Company, established in 1899, manufactures and imports mica materials and components for a wide range of industries. We serve a global customer base, including Fortune 500 companies, with a primary concentration in North America. We are currently expanding to support rapid growth and increased domestic production of thermal and dielectric components for the EV, hybrid, battery energy storage (BESS), defense, and aerospace markets. Our recent expansion includes a new production facility to support these initiatives. **Position Description:** We currently have an opening for an exempt Procurement Professional that will be responsible for all company purchases and the establishment of supporting supply chains. This position requires strong negotiating skills and provides the opportunity to vet and redesign the procurement processes and inventory systems currently in place. The ideal candidate should possess expertise and familiarity with one of the following industries: automotive, engineered products, or manufacturing.
