Brief Summary: The Freight Coordinator is responsible for coordinating freight activity, producing timely and accurate freight quotes, managing freight claims, supporting customer and internal stakeholder needs, and driving continuous improvement within freight and logistics processes. This role supports Afton customers by partnering with internal teams, carriers, and freight partners to ensure shipments are quoted, executed, tracked, and resolved in a cost\-effective and service\-focused manner. #### **ACTIVITES/TASKS** * Quote freight for all customers, including internal quote requests from sister companies as needed. * Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and carriers to gather accurate shipment details, evaluate freight options, and provide quotes that balance cost, timing, service level, and customer requirements. * Manage all freight claims from initiation through resolution, including documentation, follow\-up, escalation, recovery tracking, and efforts to recover the maximum amount possible. * Track freight claim performance and recovery metrics, report trends, and identify * opportunities to reduce claim frequency, product damage, shipping errors, and related costs....
