About this Job: **General Summary of Position** The Director of Development serves in a dynamic and highly visible fundraising role that directly supports the missions of MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate in the role will be a relationship driven development professional to assist with leading major gift fundraising efforts for these two hospitals. The hospitals are grounded in deep community roots, have compelling clinical priorities, and meaningful opportunities for philanthropic impact across patient care, medical research, and education. The Director of Development will play a critical role in advancing philanthropy for MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Union Memorial Hospital by building strong donor relationships, partnering with clinical and administrative leaders, and connecting philanthropy to key service lines and initiatives.
