**Job Summary** Operations Manager for a Plumbing and Electrical Company Will own the day\-to\-day execution of work; from the estimating handoff through project completion, and will hold project managers, field supervisors, and foreman accountable. Their main responsibilities will be: **Plan and staff the work**; assign crews based on project schedules, skill levels, and workload. Coordinate underground, top\-out, and finish phases. **Control labor and job costs;** review actual labor hours against the estimate, track productivity, and correct overruns early. **Keep projects moving;** make sure materials, fixtures, equipment, approved submittals, and inspections are ready when crews need them. **Lead the field team;** set expectations for foremen and supervisors, resolve problems, develop employees, and enforce accountability. **Protect quality and safety;** maintain installation standards, inspection readiness, safe work practices, and prompt correction of deficiencies. **Protect the company’s scope;** ensure extra work, delays, and changed conditions are documented and routed for change\-order approval. **Coordinate with the office;** provide accurate job progress, manpower fore...
