**Job Title:** Equipment Repair Specialist **Department:** Water Treatment Plant **Shift:** Wednesday through Sunday, 11:30 am – 8:00 pm **Union:** Pittsburgh Joint Collective Bargaining Committee (PJCBC) **Rate:** $35\.022 **FLSA Status:** Non\-Exempt The Equipment Repair Specialist will work as a team member to follow safe procedures and provide proactive maintenance for corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance at the Water Treatment Plant. RESPONSIBILITIES * Repairs, services, and performs routine preventive maintenance and diagnostic tests on various types of equipment such as: * Centrifugal water pumps, vertical pumps, priming pumps, peristaltic pumps, diaphragm pumps, sump pumps, sewage pumps, etc. * General lawn equipment including push mowers, self\-propelled mowers, riding mowers, weed whackers, chain saws, blowers, etc. * Clarifier equipment including, sludge collectors, screw conveyors, flocculators, chain drives, chain tensioners, etc. * Chemical feeders, hoppers, augers, mixers, rapid mixers * Mobile and stationary compressor maintenance and installation * Various types of valve repair including gate, GA valves, rotary valves, check valves, dump valves, surge...
