The Simple VUE is looking for an AI Subject Matter Expert. You will be providing expert guidance on capabilities and implementation as part of a group advising on governance, policy and risk management. This is not a software build role, the successful candidate will be comfortable evaluating current approaches and contributing to the creation of a road map for implementation. Candidates must be available for on site work 2 days a week in Downtown Washington, DC for the initial 4 month period. **Primary responsibilities** * Lead the AI technical and strategic methodology for the engagement (assessment approach, decision frameworks, and recommendation structure) * Advise on enterprise AI strategy, GenAI / agentic AI use cases, and how AI tools are successfully integrated into similar organizations * Guide development of AI governance, risk, and compliance framing appropriate for a federally overseen / regulated operating environment * Support design of a sequenced AI implementation roadmap with decision gates, cost/oversight considerations, and operating\-model implications * Shape a pilot recommendation that is executable within agency existing constraints * Contribute to the curre...
