**Job Summary** --------------- \#CA\-FT Senior technical expert who will serve as a primary technical and data architect for the UC Davis Health Databricks Platform to ensure the data architecture, solution delivery and operations is scalable, governed and optimized to support the organization’s growing data, analytics and AI workloads. The individual will bring a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in the areas of enterprise data warehouse architecture and analytics (e.g., Databricks, SQL Server), data modeling and management, data analysis, data pipeline and ELT/ETL development at the Health System. This includes, but is not limited to, the design, development and support of complex mission\-critical cloud data warehouses, data lakes, data lakehouses and supporting application software. Incumbent will have a leadership role as a Senior Data Architect working on highly technical, complex application projects such as the Data warehouses on Databricks, Clinical and non\-Clinical data marts, Advanced Cloud computing, AI/Machine Learning models and applications.
