**Job Overview** Central New York Psychiatric Center at Bedford Hills is recruiting a Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric to supervise registered nurses and direct care. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply. As Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned nursing and direct care staff including: * Directing and reviewing the work of nursing staff * Preparing and monitoring staffing schedules * Developing daily staffing plans for nursing care * Ensuring compliance with established standards of nursing care in accordance with State, federal, and accreditation agency requirements **Qualifications** Candidates from outside and within State Service may be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement \- Statewide (NY HELPS) program as a Registered Nurse Supervisor 1 Psychiatric if they have: * License and current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State, and * 2 years of post\-licensure clinical nursing experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, addiction, or substance use disorders.
