Wallace Montgomery is seeking a **Highways/Roadway engineer**, with at least 5 years of professional experience, to work in our Newark or Dover, Delaware office. This individual will be exposed to a variety of project types, providing opportunities for personal and professional growth. The Design Engineer III will work on complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross\-functional teams to deliver high\-quality solutions. **Primary Functions:** * Prepare engineering design, studies and reports. * Determine / reviews appropriate application of technical methods of the work and verify compliance with criteria. * Participate / Reviews the development of engineering design details, specifications, contract drawings and estimates. * Prepare construction contract documents including final design details, construction drawings, specifications and estimates. * Participate in presentations such as public meetings. * Monitor current design trends/methodologies related to their area of expertise. * Assist in training new employees in using CADD software. * Client contact on a limited basis. * Field work as team member for inspections and research for projects. * Other du...
