**Position Focus:** This individual will be responsible for carrying out and managing the day to day operations of the laboratory, including animal work for research projects under the guidance of research program leadership. The individual will also be responsible for maintaining the laboratory and biorepository, training and new postgraduate associates/research associates, and ensuring all safety and research compliances are met. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work occasional hours on evenings and weekends (as needed), based on experimental design. The research program and laboratory conduct clinical and translational research in the areas of cardio\-renal interactions in heart failure. The program maintains a large biorepository and utilizes novel technologies/processes and state\-of\-the\-art instrumentation to carry out high throughput processing. **Essential Duties** 1\.
