**Ground Support Equipment Software Engineer** *Location:* Sterling, VA (5 days/week onsite) *Duration:* Long\-term (one year \+ engagement) with potential for extension up to 3 yrs. \+ \*\*\* ITAR required so must be U.S. Citizen, National, or Green Card Holder **Position Summary** We are seeking a Senior Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain major components of the software platforms that control our automated electronic test and support systems. This role owns delivery of significant subsystems within the GSE software platform, serving both engineering development and production test environments. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in modern Python software engineering, asynchronous systems programming, and hardware communications. You will take ownership of well\-defined subsystems end to end — proposing designs, implementing them, and standing behind their quality — while working within the platform architecture and technical direction set by the Principal GSE Software Engineer.
