Roto\-Rooter Plumbers operating in Fairfield, CA is in search of an Accountant to join our growing team of professionals. GENERAL JOB DESRIPTION: Staff accountants are members of the accounting and finance team and are responsible for financial reporting and maintaining company books. Tasks include month close functions, analyzing accounts, improving accounting processes and creating financial statements. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITES: * Monthly work papers to monitor accounts * Preparing Sales Tax Report * Account Analysis * Account Reconciliation MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: * Cash flow monitoring \& projection * Ad Hoc projects QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB: * Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred or 4\+ years of accounting experience. * Solid communication skills, both written and verbal. * Expert knowledge of GAAP. * Strong numeric and analytical skills. * Good problem\-solving and time management skills. * Organized and detail\-oriented.
