**For questions regarding this position, please contact the Recruiter listed in the Supplemental Information section.** **ABOUT THE POSITION** ---------------------- The County of Riverside's Riverside University Health System, (RUHS), is currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Surgical Acute Unit. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3\-5 years of full\-time Registered Nurse experience working in an acute care facility/hospital. This position is full\-time and the essential duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: * Manage 4 to 5 medical surgical patients with various levels of acuities, and deliver safe, efficient, and quality care. * Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments of patients and implement necessary nursing interventions in accordance to the scope of nursing practice and physician orders. * Delegate and supervise appropriate nursing tasks when working with Licensed Vocational Nurses, (LVNs), and Nursing Assistants, within their respective scopes of practice. * Collaborate with various multidisciplinary team members, (e.g. residents, attending physicians, physical and occupational therapists, ca...
