**Staff Accountant** Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a dynamic **Staff Accountant** to join our team. This is an on\-site role based in our Corporate office in Salina, KS. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may occasionally be required during peak tax times. **Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*** Compile and analyze financial information for preparing and booking journal entries. * Complete a variety of month\-end closing tasks independently. * Reconcile various general ledger accounts to ensure accurate and timely reporting; clear reconciling items within the following accounting period. * Maintain and update standard monthly reports used by management. * Provide support for requests from Kubota headquarters, and internal or external tax groups and audit teams. * Research and apply the appropriate accounting treatment for new transactions. * Support the CFO and Corporate Controller in providing information and analyses for various ad hoc requests. * Collaborate with others in the department to support the accounting for international subsidiaries. * Comply with data requests from government census and indus...
