SOFT's client, located in South Plainfield, NJ (hybrid) is looking for a Structural Engineer for a long term contract assignment. A New Jersey PE license is required for this position. The successful candidate will work as a Structural Engineer in the Outside **Plant (OP) Engineering \& Design Group within the Construction \& Maintenance organization of the Electric T\&D – Projects \& Construction line** of business utilizing a broad knowledge of business and engineering principles and practices. The successful candidate will be an experienced structural engineer with broad knowledge and experience in electric transmission and distribution design and construction. Perform detailed civil / structural engineering design and analysis and solve complex technical issues. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to lead and will coordinate and perform structural design, alterations, and repairs to produce construction drawings and calculations, as well as provide field construction support.
