Hamilton's Steakhouse and Winnie's Wine bar is recruiting for the position of Assistant General Manager. This position is responsible to lead, develop and motivate a team with the shared goal of excellent guest service while providing personalized hospitality. Hamilton's and Winnie's are award winning staples of the Lafayette Square neighborhood from the owners of Eleven Eleven Mississippi and formerly Vin de Set, PW Pizza and 21st Street Brewer's Bar. This restaurant team includes hospitality professionals whose average tenure is more than ten years with our company, so positions rarely become available. All of our current managers have been promoted from within the team and we are looking for our next leader. This position reports to the General Manager of the restaurant. **Responsibilities** \-Interviewing, hiring, scheduling and training the service team\-hosts, SAs, servers, food runners and bartenders\- while maintaining the restaurant’s labor budget. \-Respond to guest comments/complaints and address training and motivational opportunities. \-Plan and coordinate large party dinners (more than 10, less than 20\) by managing availability, labor levels and special menus. \-Dire...
