The job duties of the City Engineer include but are not limited to administering Public Works projects in a timely and efficient manner, overseeing the City’s biogas facility in an efficient manner and to help other departments achieve their goals to better serve the community; to move the City of Dodge City forward to meet future demands and goals. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Expectation to plan and oversee Public Works projects: * Plan and oversee the letting, construction and administration of Public Works projects. * Correspond with citizens of the community about their concerns and work to solve them. * Review the progress of each employee during their assigned jobs. * Oversee operating budgets and review daily; establish project costs. * Prepare information for other city departments. * Assist other departments when needed. * Supervises employees, projects, and other activities.
