**What You Will Do** **This position is open for external candidates only to apply.** Q\-6 is seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented individual to serve as a Production Control Specialist within the Detonation Science and Technology Group. This position provides critical support for inventory management, material accountability, material readiness, and production control functions for high\-explosive, classified, controlled, and inert materials used in research, development, and testing operations. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with operations, safety, security, quality, material management, and programmatic organizations to ensure materials and equipment are properly received, tracked, stored, staged, issued, returned, reconciled, and documented in accordance with Laboratory and Division requirements. The role supports high\-consequence work environments that involve high explosives, hazardous materials, classified matter, controlled components, test assets, spare parts, consumables, and a broad range of inert inventory.
