**About the Role** ================== As Carlex’s Corporate Transportation \& Logistics Strategy Manager, you will orchestrate the end\-to\-end movement of materials for both our OE and aftermarket business. You’ll partner closely with MP\&L leaders at each Carlex facility to convert strategy into action, ensuring every shipment is efficient, compliant, and cost\-effective. **A Week in the Life** ---------------------- * Kick off Monday reviewing freight spend and KPI dashboards; identify savings opportunities and service risks. * Midweek strategy sessions with plant MP\&L teams and our 3PL to refine routes, capacity plans, and mode mix. * Lead competitive bids and negotiate market\-appropriate rates with carriers and logistics partners. * Align with Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations, and key suppliers to keep product flowing smoothly. * Prepare monthly freight accruals and reporting, and approve invoices to close out the week. **What You’ll Own** ------------------- * Developing and executing short\- and long\-range logistics strategies across Carlex. * Managing total logistics spend, performance reporting, and annual freight estimates for budget planning. * Directing 3rd\-party...
