**Senior Accountant – Tax \& Assurance** **Location:** Warwick, RI **Employment Type:** Full\-Time **Compensation:** based on experience and qualifications, plus overtime pay **Reports To:** Managing Partner **Position Summary** * The Senior Accountant – Tax \& Assurance is responsible for providing accounting, tax compliance, tax planning, bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, accounting, attets and assurance services to a diverse client base. * The ideal candidate will have public accounting experience, strong technical knowledge, excellent client service skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines. * This role provides the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership, develop client relationships, and contribute to the professional development of junior staff. **Key Responsibilities** **Accounting \& Advisory Services** * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. * Perform bank and account reconciliations. * Analyze financial information and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. * Prepare management rep...
