APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE\*\*\* **Job Summary** --------------- The Central Payroll unit within Division of Human Resource Management (DHRM) is seeking an Accountant Technician 2 located in Las Vegas or Carson City. The division serves as the central fiscal agent of 100\+ budget accounts across a variety of state agencies. Clients are primarily Department of Administration agencies, elected officials, and other small state entities that do not have their own fiscal staff. Job duties include but are not limited to approving payments in the State's financial system; tracking pending payable transactions; reconciling transactions within CORENV; overseeing/verifying Budget Status Reports (BSR) and Transaction Exception Reports; and performing various reconciliations. This position will also research late payments and vendor issues for resolution. The incumbent will be responsible for bank reconciliations, off\-cycle payroll processing, vendor payment reconciliation, and overpayment recuperation.
