**Sr Manager\- Accounting** **MISSION:** Responsible for supervision of company accounting and for production of timely, accurate financial statements that comply with GAAP **DESCRIPTORS:** Detail\-oriented, Reliable, Proactive, Accurate, Organized, Multi\-Tasker, Analytical, Adaptable **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Regularly review and post journal entries (including accounts payable, deposits, general journal, etc.) to ensure that accounting information is complete and accurate * Develop policies and procedures to ensure that financial reports are timely and accurate and conform to GAAP * Oversee closing of monthly financial statements and assist in the preparation of monthly reporting packages for executive and/or Parent Company review * Lead the AP function and oversee the review, processing, and posting of pay cycles ensuring proper coding, compliant tax reporting, and timely payments * Develop and implement process and procedure improvements to support scalability of growth of the company while maintaining adequate controls and accuracy * Proactively make recommendations to resolve issues and improve processes including recommending new tools/processes/reports that will enhance the ...
