**Description** --------------- **SALARY:** $54\.89 \- $66\.72 / Hour **OPENING DATE:** 11/4/26 **CLOSING DATE:** 11/18/26 at 1:00 PM Pacific Time **THE POSITION:** Under direction, is responsible for technical work examining building plans for compliance with building code and zoning regulations or participates in and is in charge of varied and difficult professional engineering work of the more advanced level including research and design of engineering projects; and performs other work as required. **Representative Duties** ------------------------- The following typical tasks and responsibilities are representative of the position's essential duties. They are descriptive, not limiting. **Essential Duties:** Develops and/or checks plans for major civil engineering and building construction projects, including supervision in the drawing of plans, writing specifications, making preliminary construction plan layouts; makes a variety of decisions requiring technical and professional knowledge of engineering principles, methods and techniques; and inspects construction work in progress and on completion.
