**JOB SUMMARY:** This position is responsible for and supervises the treasury operations team in Birmingham, handing the cash management of certain Southern Company subsidiaries as well as backing up the Atlanta\-based treasury operations group. This involves managing the daily cash positioning of the company, managing the banking relationships, lines of credit, cash forecasting and working capital management. The position is also responsible for supporting reporting needs from Treasury Operations. **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, or Accounting required * Must have 2 \-3 years of experience leading, coaching, or directing the work of others. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making skills. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines. * Knowledge of cash positioning, liquidity management, banking services, and financial controls. * Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholde...
