Overview: **PURPOSE STATEMENT:** Responsible for the general and preventive maintenance of the equipment, building, furniture, fixtures and grounds of the facility, to include monitoring work performed by outside vendors or contractors. Responsibilities: **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** Manage the activities involved in the maintenance of facilities and equipment. * Responsible for building operations including structural maintenance. * Responsible for regulatory and building code compliance. * Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of department staff. * Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation. * Ensure safe operations and adherence to regulatory requirements. * Serve as project manager for small scale, short duration projects. * Develop and manage budget and inventory systems. * Manage the activities involved in the design and renovation projects for a facility. * Analyze metrics and make recommendations for improvements and solutions to issues that are identified. * Initiate and authorize repairs or replacements and prepare related cost estimates. * Be on...
