### **Assignment Overview** * Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs * Hours: 36 hrs/wk * Start Date: Nov 9, 2026 * Length: 13 weeks * Openings: 2 ### **Description** American Traveler is hiring a Labor \& Delivery RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of L\&D experience and an active MD or Compact RN license. ### **Details** * Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting * Facility averages 100\-200 births per month * Patient ratio of 1:3 * Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM \- 7:30 AM) * Every other weekend required * Holiday coverage required as scheduled, with one major holiday off requested for winter season * Floating required within the specialty, with travelers prioritized for floating * No on\-call responsibilities * Epic charting system preferred ### **Requirements** * Active MD or Compact RN license required * Current BLS, STABLE, and NRP certifications required (NRP or AAP accepted) * Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required * Prior travel nursing experience required; first\-time travelers will not be accepted * Experience with vaginal delivery assistance, C\-section circulation, and recovery * Experience with obstetric hemorrhage/...
