Description

The Senior Accountant position reports to the Accounting Associate Manager and supports other department staff. This position requires someone who is a self\-starter and demonstrates a high degree of competence and organizational skills with the ability to work independently to perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses. **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Responsible for producing financial reports as well as analyzing data. Ability to turn around ad hoc analyses quickly while maintaining integrity and accuracy of data; * Works independently and ensures all work is completed without follow\-up from supervisor; * Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets to prepare analyses and reports using advanced Excel functions; * Identify opportunities for improvement, provide information and recommendations to management and follow\-through on solutions; * Assist with the management reporting, departmental reporting and associated schedules; * Review monthly exception reporting to ensure firm policies are being followed * Assist in the firm\-wide annual forecasting/budgeting process; * Perform monthly account review and variance analysis; * Review and analysis of general ledge...
