**Position**: Senior Accountant (Construction) **Location**: Temple, TX **Job Type**: Full\-Time \| On\-Site **Position Summary** The Senior Accountant is a key member of the accounting team responsible for **construction job cost accounting, financial reporting, month\-end close, and other general accounting functions**. This is a hands\-on position within a small accounting team and requires someone who is comfortable managing both detailed accounting responsibilities and higher\-level financial analysis. **The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, construction industry experience, and the ability and desire to take on increasing responsibility as they grow within the organization.** **Key Responsibilities** * Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable \& Billing * Ensure timely and accurate vendor and subcontractor payments. * Review transactions and supporting documentation for accuracy, proper authorization, and appropriate job cost coding. * Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and assist with resolving discrepancies, payment issues, and collection matters. * Prepare and/or review bank reconciliations, cash reporting, and daily cash activity.
