We would like to expand our services with freelance Medical Assistants that are experienced in Primary Care and Internal Medicine. Our Medical Assistants will be involved in a wide range of duties including patient check\-in, medical record acquisition and maintenance, insurance verification, chaperoning during female patients examinations, medication management, answer phone calls, health education and preparation for patient visits. We are seeking professionals with at least six months of experience in a medical setting and expertise in dealing with patients. Pay is competitive \& negotiable. Responsibilities: * Participate in or assist in the process of examining, taking vital signs, and gathering health histories of patients under the direction of a physician or other licensed health care professional. * Prepare patients for examination and treatment procedures such as taking blood pressure or drawing blood from veins. * Proficiency in EHR software \& computer is a must. * Be familiar with common medication names. * Be able to inject vaccines \& intramuscular injections. * Chaperon during female patients examinations. * Perform medical tests and analyses using such equipment as...
