As a key member of the Finance and Accounting team of three, the Accounting Manager will report to the Controller and play an important role in the management, execution and continuous improvement of Food Forward’s finance and accounting processes and systems. This will include direct responsibility for full\-cycle bookkeeping, reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting practices. This individual will work cross\-departmentally providing guidance and support to all staff regarding accounting and finance areas, while exercising sound judgment and discretion and maintaining confidentiality. The candidate must demonstrate a customer service mentality while interacting with staff and enforcing policy. This person must also be highly organized, extremely proactive, and creative with the ability to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast\-paced environment and must be able to prioritize accounting and finance tasks while paying close attention to detail and deadlines.
