**Description** --------------- **Duties and Responsibilities:** * Provides direct technical assistance to sworn and civilian Police Department personnel * Provides technical support, coordination, maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or administration, as assigned, for specialized Police Department technology * Assists with implementation, testing, deployment, and support of new Police Department technology * Supports technology installed in Police Department vehicles, including computers, cameras, scanners, printers, communications equipment, and associated peripherals * Works collaboratively with City IT to ensure Police Department technology complies with City cybersecurity, network, infrastructure, and enterprise technology standards **Education and/or Experience:** * Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology, Information Technology, etc. * Seven (7\) years of IT support; 2 years supervision preferred **Experience should include:** * Desktop support, Microsoft Windows/365; * Installation/troubleshooting, user accounts, mobile devices, network support, * Technical customer support. **Preferred experience in:** * IT support in law enforcement, public safety, 24\-hour...
