**Barn Assistant** **Reports to:** Barn Manager **Employment Type:** Part\-Time (20–30 hours per week) **Status:** Hourly **Location:** Loxahatchee, Florida (On\-site) **Position Summary**The Barn Assistant supports the Barn Manager in caring for one of Vinceremos' most valuable assets — our horses. Working under the Barn Manager's direction, the Barn Assistant helps maintain the health and wellbeing of the herd and keeps the Vinceremos property in excellent order for horses, clients, and volunteers alike. **Essential Responsibilities** **Horse Care \& Welfare** * Monitor the general health of all horses daily and promptly report any concerns to the Barn Manager. * Keep horses well\-groomed, including body clipping and maintaining mane and tail length. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian and directed by the Barn Manager. * Support rehabilitation, conditioning, and return\-to\-work plans as assigned. **Barn \& Property Operations** * Perform routine barn chores, including feeding, turnout, and stall cleaning. * Complete general farm and facility maintenance. * Help keep the property presentation\-ready for donors and visitors at all times. * Ass...
