(CMF)** **Location:** Farmingdale, New Jersey **Reports to:** Business Development / Program Manager **Annual Base Salary:** **$95,000–$125,000** About the Role Central Metal Fabricators, Inc. is seeking an experienced **Technical Acquisition Specialist** to support purchasing and supply\-chain execution for government, defense, and commercial manufacturing programs. This is not a traditional purchasing position. The Technical Acquisition Specialist must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, material requirements, military and aerospace hardware callouts, and manufacturing process requirements in order to source compliant products and services. The position reports directly to the **Business Development / Program Manager** and works closely with Operations, Estimating, Quality, and Production Control. The Acquisition Specialist is responsible for ensuring sourcing information, supplier commitments, material availability, outside\-process status, and purchasing risks are clearly communicated to Operations so production can be planned effectively.
