**Role Overview:** This position involves providing outpatient clinical support as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). **Key Responsibilities:** * Obtain and document patient information, vital signs, and screening details using electronic medical records. * Prepare examination and treatment rooms, assist patients with visits, and ensure safety and privacy. * Perform direct patient care tasks such as EKGs, wound dressings, and support during minor procedures, based on competency. * Prepare and administer medications, collect lab specimens, and perform phlebotomy. * Support clerical duties including scheduling, referrals, and documentation to ensure smooth clinic operations. * Facilitate patient communication, reinforce education, and assist with inventory management. * Maintain infection control protocols, sterilize instruments, and monitor diagnostic equipment. * Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives. **Qualifications \& Skills:** Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred; certification from recognized agencies (NHA, AMT, AAMA, etc.) required. **Additional Details:** Work typically performed in ...
