Description

The Controller leads the accounting department and ensures the accuracy of financial statements. This role oversees day\-to\-day operations, strengthens internal controls, and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Core responsibilities: \- Manage the monthly close process \- Assist when needed for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. \- Prepare accurate balance sheets and income statements under GAAP. \- Coordinate internal and external audits/reviews. \- Ensure local, state and federal tax compliance. Qualifications and Requirements: \- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. \- CPA required. \- 7\+ years of progressive accounting and managerial experience \- Expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles \- Strong communication and leadership skills \- Strong Excel skills \- Positive attitude and team spirit!
